Themed Weddings!

We have lots of work to do in order to make our showroom look WOW for our showcase event.  We're having a change around as we speak and adding more bits and bobs to it. We need to make room for our fantastic band that are coming along and also our cocktail flarers!  We'd better put some seating in there too...how about some grass seating to fit with Alice in Wonderland? Oh go on then!!!

There are lots of events in between now and then....last weekend we did a small charity casino in Nottingham which went down a storm and a 007 themed party in Yorkshire.  This weekend we are casino's galore, in Doncaster, Nottingham and Skipton.  Once September arrives we have lots of big projects in the pipeline such as a large scale conference and evening awards ceremony in Manchester and a large Hollywood themed wedding in Sheffield.  

We're thinking themed weddings are the way forward...everyone is looking for something bigger, better and completely different.  Evening entertainment is so important for a lot of people and sometimes a DJ or a live band just isn't quite enough.  We're always entertaining with our casino tables but now lots more bride and grooms are after 007, Hollywood and even Willy Wonka theming to add to their day and evening - watch this space for photos and updates!!!

September Action

Well, for all you lovely people out there, its August and you don't want to be thinking about anything other than August and what is left of the 'summer' (although maybe you're all looking forward to September and the hopes of an indian summer?!!).  Here at Steel City HQ there is no rest for the wicked and we are busy planning for the next few months ahead.  September is a fabulous month, full of gorgeous weddings, big corporate conferences, evening awards ceremonies and not forgetting our very own launch event! Phew!! It will be Christmas before we know it! I know, I know....don't say it!!! (Mind you, I did catch my first glimpse of Christmas Decorations this week!!!)

We are also plotting our stand for Doncaster Racecourse Wedding Exibition too.  Something different is what every bride and groom wants so something different is what we will have on offer.  Look out for us there on 18th September (you won't be able to miss us!!!)

Launch Event

As over the summer is mainly weekend weddings, we have had plenty of time to set the wheels in motion for our fabulous client launch in September.  Set in our showroom, amongst the many weird and wonderful props we will have an accoustic musician, some cocktail jugglers and open up our fun casino for our clients.  Enjoy a glass of fizz and some nibbles and have a wander around the new, exciting and fresh ideas we have on offer.  Our Oompa Loompa's will be on hand to answer any questions and give the guided tour.

Working in partnership with Double 7 Events, a supplier of all sorts of great party bands and live musicians we are sure to have the perfect solution to any event.  We've even got a great prize on offer for one lucky guest!

As well as this we will also be showcasing our Willy Wonka and themed wedding ideas at Doncaster Races Wedding Exhibition on 18th September - It's exciting stuff!
