Imagine the scene, it's Christmas Eve, you're travelling home from a hard day's last minute Christmas shopping. The shops were heaving, you have so many bags and you just can't wait to get home, sit in front of the fire with a large mug of hot chocolate (with extra cream and marshmallows) and wait for the big guy himself to head down the chimney. Well one girls' Christmas Eve turned out rather differently.....We were commissioned to transform a back garden in Darlington into a magical Winter Wonderland scene, complete with stalagmite props, uber cool ligting effects, ice sculptures and snow in order for a very nervous young man to welcome his girlfriend home from her Christmas Eve shopping trip and ask her to marry him. No problem we thought, we have endless nets of fairy lights which we often use to create a tunnel effect and our Large Stalagmites look great when lit in blue. We took on the project and created a stunning setting ready for the big question. As she pulled up the drive, she was met by carol singers and a fire performer, lead through the tunnel of fairy lights and into her very own Christmas proposal. Wonderful!
