April Mash Up!

April 2013 was definitely a mixed bag of events and themes.  We’ve told you all about the 007 ones and the gorgeous Great Gatsby inspired 1920’s 21^st Birthday Bash we did too; 1920’s is a very popular theme this year – we can’t wait to see Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan in ‘The Great Gatsby’ on 16^th May 2013 when it opens in the UK!

So, now for a change…how about some Moulin Rouge or Willy Wonka news; Hey, how about both?!

Firstly, we provided some fab theming and entertainment in Leicester a few weeks ago – we’re talking a complete transformation from daytime conference set to a magnificent Parisian Burlesque awards dinner.  Red Drapes on the entrance, a wash of red colour over the venue walls; glitzy mirror ball table centres and beautiful linen. Our stunning Feather Showgirls dazzled the guests, and fantastic Ringmaster kept everyone entertained and the night running smoothly.

On the same night, another of our crews delivered some of our great Willy Wonka props to Sandown Park Racecourse.  An event filled with Giant Candy, Cool Lighting, Funky Backdrops and of course, heaps of real chocolate, sweets and other edible delights. Our Chocolate Factory Backdrop stood pride of place, the perfect photo opportunity!

Our Wonka Entrance Gates were the main feature at last weeks’ Wonka event. They’re a great prop to use for a ‘Reveal’ – you could have the gates in a reception area and keep the gates closed until you’re ready for your guests to go through for dinner! This creates quite a bit of suspense and intrigue about what is inside – a great start to any event! Our Johnny Depp Look-a-Like or Oompa Loompa Characters are a fantastic addition to any Wonka event too; they’ll mingle with guests, pose for photos and make sure everyone has a brilliant time!

Anyway, enough talk of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – its making me hungry! Must get back to planning more delightful events – up and coming events include more glamorous 1920’s, some Caribbean theming and some funky American Diner / Grease events! Lots of variety!
